With over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting management, he has worked at the Big Four accounting firms and several regional asset management institutions in Asia, specializing in private fund structuring, multi-currency asset management, and audit compliance control. Before joining Velmorin, Li Waichong was the CFO of a Singapore-based fintech group, where he led two rounds of financing exceeding ten million dollars and several mergers and acquisitions projects, successfully driving the company's expansion into the Malaysian and Indonesian markets. He holds dual qualifications as a Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant (HKICPA) and ACCA, with a deep understanding of regional tax structures and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He later joined the international law firm Simmons & Simmons, focusing on private equity funds, cross-border asset allocation structures, and legal advisory services for high-net-worth clients, accumulating substantial practical experience and cross-border coordination expertise.
